Beneath the storm-torn waves of Deadman’s Abyss lies the Drowned Catacombs, a labyrinth of ancient stone, whispered to be the resting place of Lor’K, the Forgotten God. Twisted corridors writhe with unnatural geometry, and unseen horrors prowl its lightless depths. Legends tell of walls that pulse with a heartbeat and a god neither alive nor dead, dreaming in hatred of the world above.
Sir Alderion, a paladin clad in tarnished gold, stood before the black maw of the Catacombs, the air thick with salt and decay. Lantern trembling in his grasp, he whispered a prayer and descended into the abyss. As the shadows consumed him, the sea’s roar faded, leaving only the ominous thrum of an ancient heartbeat—a sound that seemed to welcome him deeper.
Follow Sir Alderion's steps and explore the sunken depths of a forgotten god resting place.

I just tried this on my cellphone and it works great. Here's the results
thanks for the comment! I hope you liked it!
I did. I was just pointing out it functions quite well on cellphone browsers too.
Is it possible to turn off the CRT effect?
Sadly no, its part of the html
Nice music and atmosphere! Pico-8 file possible? Thanks
Very nice game feel, aesthetics and vibes :)
Minor feedback: the only choice I felt like I was making with the items was what to risk eating or not and I didn't really understand what "cursed" is. Maybe i didn't get far enough but it would be cool if the type of sword/weapon you chose made a difference in play style.
thats a really nice idea! for the next iteration of the game i discarted the curse/blessed mechanic and started to add spells that can be cast if the player has a staff instead of a sword.
Really good game! Having a lot of fun playing this. Not super sure how "curse" and "bless" work, but the basic mechanics are excellent.
